I am Roman Angelo, the founder of PEM - Pulse Events & Marketing, where I merge two worlds that have shaped my career, crafting unforgettable events and building impactful marketing strategies.
My journey began in 2011, when I worked as an usher at ICASA, Africa’s largest HIV/AIDS conference, an event that brought together over 10,000 participants from 103 countries. That experience revealed the power of strategic event planning to unite people for a greater purpose. It lit a spark in me that has grown into the work I do today.
Over the years, I built expertise not only in event management but also in digital marketing, brand strategy, and business development. From corporate conferences to weddings, from digital campaigns to immersive brand activations, I’ve learned that events and marketing are not separate; they are two sides of the same coin. Both are about connection, storytelling, and impact.
In 2019, I had the vision for PEM. It stayed with me, growing stronger year after year, until in 2023 I finally brought it to life and officially launched the company. What began as an idea has now become a reality, a creative space where strategy, innovation, and experiences come together.
Today, I see PEM not just as an events company but as a hybrid creative partner, one that helps businesses and individuals craft their story, engage their audience, and deliver moments that resonate.
With a relentless eye for detail, a love for storytelling, and a drive to push boundaries, I continue to evolve my work, building bridges between memorable experiences and marketing impact.
